Favorite Things - Week of Jan 2nd

So I already loved cooking and after spending time in Breckenridge this past summer I couldn’t help myself but be pulled into Half Baked Harvest recipes and blog closer than I had followed it before. I have come to really enjoy reading her weekly 9 favorite things posts. While I don’t have a blog following and don’t really want one I am kind of drawn to the 9 favorite things concept so at the start of the new year I am going to see about keeping up a weekly favorite things list. Really just for myself, maybe I will share it I’m not sure. Also it may not always be 9 things, really just whatever I am feeling that week :) So here goes with week 1…

  1. Sarah Adler’s spotify playlists - my favorites are the calm mornings and Fall / Winter mornings

  2. This Champagne tower in Dubai for new years that broke the guinness world record

  3. The Film Don’t Look Up on Netflix

  4. Sarah Adler’s New Year Intentions exercise, I’ve slowly been working through this process (loosley) all week

  5. Planning Hikes & our plans for the early part of 2022 - we have a lot coming up in the next few months to the point that Matt and I actually sat down one night this week and planned out everything for January - March. We are planning to host an Oyster Roast in January, have scheduled out a lot of hikes over the next couple of months trying to get ready for our Patagonia trip. And still have a lot of logistics and details for that trip that we are working through.

  6. Going through my new cook books, I got a couple of good cookbooks for christmas and have enjoyed flipping through them and figuring out which recipes I want to try first

  7. Smartless Podcast, we have mostly been listening to the murdoch murders when we have been in the car but were caught up on Murdoch Murders and switched over to Smartless recently. It is a fun and much more light hearted listen.

  8. Kypris Antioxidant dew - okay I try all sorts of skincare products as I am easily influenced lol but this one is actually really good - like game changer good!

  9. A social media break - this is really more of the last week of December thing because I did add instagram back this week but took a nice social media break leading into the New Year and plan to take more of those in 2022 because I hate how much time I often waste on it.
