About Michelle
I am Michelle – a lifelong North Carolina resident who lives in Charlotte, NC and enjoys being sandwiched between both the coast and the mountains. I love spending time with my husband, family, friends and two adorable puppers! I can often be found on my couch sipping coffee or wine (depending on the time of day), traveling, enjoying good food & company, or looking for cool new products to share on this site.
I believe that you should not have to sacrifice your values for style and have started this blog as a place to share how I am trying to be more intentional in my daily decisions and purchases. I have a strong desire to support the growth of organizations that in my opinion are doing business right – meaning they are treating employees with care, paying fair wages, have a passion for their products, are consciously working for the betterment of the environment and protecting this beautiful world we live in.
When it is clear that a company has a true passion for their mission and cares about more than just increasing their bottom line, I want to support them and their growth. As consumers when we decide to make a purchase we are essentially casting our vote for what we want to support. I try to support these companies by choosing to shop with them for items I would be purchasing anyways versus casting my vote for a big box retailer that may not have the same priorities. My goal with this blog is to share parts of my life with you, increase awareness and promote growth for these brands, maybe motivate a few people to become more intentional about their purchases, and meet and interact with others who share a common goal.
